The brain controls all functions of the body, interprets information from the outside world, the brain controls our intelligence, creativity, emotion, memory, speech, learning, thoughts, movement of the arms and legs, and the function of many organs  within our body.

The spinal cord transfer nervous information between the brain and other parts of the body except the head region. It also controls the simple reflex actions.
