   Window Lifecycle:

   The Windows lifecycle refers to the stages that a particular version of the Windows operating system goes through from its release to its eventual retirement. The Windows lifecycle includes four main stages:

   1. Mainstream support: During this stage, the operating system receives regular updates and hotfixes, as well as new features and functionality.
   2. Extended support: After the mainstream support ends, the operating system enters the extended support phase, where it still receives security updates and hotfixes, but no new features or functionality.
   3. Custom support: Custom support is an optional phase that some organizations can pay for when the extended support phase ends. During this phase, Microsoft provides limited support and security updates.
   4. End of life: Once a version of Windows reaches the end of life, it will no longer receive any support or updates, including security updates. At this point, it is recommended to upgrade to a newer version of Windows.

   Fact sheet:

   A fact sheet is a document that presents key facts and information about a particular subject or topic. Fact sheets are typically concise, informative, and easy to read. They can be used for a variety of purposes, such as marketing, public relations, or education.

   A typical fact sheet may include information such as:

   • The purpose or objective of the subject or topic
   • Key features or benefits
   • Technical specifications or requirements
   • Pricing or cost information
   • Contact information for further inquiries

   Hotfix:

   A hotfix is a software patch that is designed to fix a specific issue or bug in a program or operating system. Hotfixes are usually released between regular updates or service packs, and are meant to address critical issues that cannot wait until the next scheduled update. Hotfixes are typically small and targeted, and are not intended to provide new features or functionality.

   Update:

   An update is a software release that provides new features, bug fixes, and security updates to an existing program or operating system. Updates are typically released on a regular schedule, and can be downloaded and installed by users to keep their software up-to-date and functioning optimally.

   Upgrade:

   An upgrade is a new version of a software program or operating system that provides significant changes or improvements over the previous version. Upgrades typically involve replacing the existing software with a new version, which may include new features, updated design, improved performance, and enhanced security. Upgrades may also require changes to the system hardware or software requirements.
